HANDSET INSURANCE
As part of our commitment to providing worry-free service to our customers, ACS now offers Wireless Handset Insurance administered by N.E.W. Wireless and Insurance Services, LLC. and underwritten by a member company of Argonaut Group.
For just $4.99 a month, your wireless phone is protected in case of loss, theft, damage, mechanical or electrical failure outside the manufacturer's warranty. A non-refundable deductible is required for each approved claim.
How to Get It
ACS customers activating new equipment can enroll at the point of activation or within 14 days of equipment activation. (Handset Insurance is not available after 14 days of equipment activation.) If you have purchased an ACS Wireless phone within the last 14 days and would like to add Handset Insurance, call ACS at 800-808-8083.
How to Use It
If your phone is lost, stolen, damaged, or experiences mechanical/electrical failure outside the manufacturer's warranty, call N.E.W. at 866-360-8388 to file your insurance claim.
- If your equipment is lost or stolen, call ACS Customer Service immediately at 800-808-8083 to suspend service.
- If your phone is stolen, report the incident to the police department to obtain a police report and case number.
